    In March 2021, deputy Clint Pace was named in a federal lawsuit by Rebecca England, alleging misconduct during an October 25, 2020 traffic stop. England claimed Pace initiated a stop without proper cause, attempted to ram the vehicle driven by her son, and held him at gunpoint. The lawsuit sought damages for violations of constitutional rights.
