    In November 2017, Deputy Cody Lane was investigated for escorting his girlfriend home from a bar in a marked patrol car while on duty. The investigation concluded that Lane was dishonest about the incident, leading to his termination in April 2018. An arbitrator later ordered his reinstatement, but the District Attorney’s Office placed him on the Brady list, indicating concerns about his credibility as a witness.
