Deputy Constable was involved in the 2005 theft of county property alongside Undersheriff John Larson and fellow deputies. The stolen property was relocated to the Seneca County Army Depot. Following a suspicious fire at the Depot in February 2006 that destroyed evidence, Constable was among four deputies criminally charged in relation to the theft.
