On October 18, 2020, Corporal Jump refused an inmate’s request for an ambulance for a bladder infection, instructing her to submit a medical request instead. The inmate was later found unresponsive and pronounced dead. A lawsuit alleged that Corporal Jump’s actions demonstrated deliberate indifference to the inmate’s serious medical needs, violating her constitutional rights.
