In 2015, Lt. Craig Worster faced allegations of sexual harassment, including telling female officers sex-related stories, displaying explicit material, and unwelcome touching. An internal investigation was initiated, but Worster resigned citing family matters before its conclusion. The investigation found he created a ‘hostile work environment’ and made ‘sexually explicit comments, innuendo, statements.’ No formal disciplinary action was taken due to his resignation. In 2019, Worster became the police chief in Millinocket, Maine, where he faced similar allegations, leading to his termination in December 2020.
