On May 4, 2015, Officer Hill, along with other officers, held David Washington at gunpoint while he was unresponsive due to a stroke. After Officer Jurgens used a Taser and pepper spray on Washington, Hill drove Washington’s vehicle off his foot after it rolled backward and a tire struck him. The incident led to a lawsuit alleging excessive force and denial of medical care, resulting in a confidential settlement.
