Officer Eckhardt was accused of exposing himself and urinating on people while off duty at a concert at MetraPark on May 28, 2010. He resigned from the department on July 8, 2010, before any disciplinary action could be taken. He was charged with disorderly conduct, with a trial scheduled for November 1, 2010.
