In 2010, Officer Darrell Hale was involved in an incident where excessive use of a Taser was reported during the arrest of Antonio Scott at a Piggly Wiggly store. An internal investigation found that Hale, along with two other officers, violated the department’s Taser Use Policy and Use of Force Policy.
