Officer Darrin Ettinger participated in the January 2016 arrest of Tony Jennings, where excessive force was reportedly applied. The Citizens Review Board determined that Ettinger was involved in racial profiling, excessive force, and an illegal search. The city agreed to a $500,000 settlement in August 2023.
