Between 2012 and 2014, while serving as a correctional officer, Christensen engaged in repeated sexual misconduct with two female inmates, J.K.J. and M.J.J., including vaginal intercourse and oral sex. He resigned upon the initiation of an internal investigation and subsequently pleaded guilty to five counts of second-degree sexual assault, receiving a 30-year prison sentence.
