In August 2007, Sergeant David White was involved in an incident where he refused to allow a citizen, Mark Tunne, to file a complaint against a postal worker. White also participated in questioning Tunne about the events at the post office and advised him that charges had been filed against him. Tunne alleged that White’s actions were part of a series of events leading to his wrongful arrest and subsequent lawsuit against the Paducah Police Department.
