In January 2019, Sergeant Dawn Pullen told an inmate to ‘kill yourself’ in front of other officers and inmates. The inmate subsequently attempted suicide by hanging but was saved by staff intervention. As a result, Pullen was demoted from sergeant to corrections officer.
