In February 2024, Deputy Keadle filed a lawsuit against the West Virginia State Police, alleging invasion of privacy and other claims related to a hidden camera found in the women’s locker room at the State Police Academy. The camera, discovered in 2015, had secretly recorded women, including Deputy Keadle, without their consent. The lawsuit highlights systemic issues within the State Police but does not allege misconduct by Deputy Keadle herself.
