On August 30, 2021, Deputy Willie assisted in escorting inmate Lemoine, who was resisting and combative. During the escort, all three men slipped on wet floors, causing Lemoine to strike his head and bleed. Lemoine filed a lawsuit alleging excessive use of force by the deputies involved.
