    In November 2015, Deputy Collier conducted a warrantless search of a property known as ‘The Pig,’ where he observed firearms. This led to a federal indictment of the property owner for being a felon in possession of a firearm. However, the court later suppressed the evidence obtained from Collier’s search, ruling it violated the Fourth Amendment. The indictment was subsequently dismissed with prejudice.
