In July 2005 and September 2006, Deputy Crooks was accused of threatening an individual and his family with bodily harm. The alleged harassment continued until February 8, 2007, causing the individual mental anguish, embarrassment, and hardship. A lawsuit was filed against Deputy Crooks and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department regarding these allegations.
