In August 2010, Deputy Jailer Allen White was involved in the case of Shannon Ray Finn, an inmate who died from delirium tremens due to alcohol withdrawal. Despite observing Finn’s deteriorating condition, including shaking and mumbling, Deputy White repeatedly noted that Finn ‘appears to be ok’ and failed to take appropriate action. This inaction contributed to a lawsuit alleging deliberate indifference to Finn’s medical needs.
