Deputy Little was involved in the November 2019 incident leading to David Ward’s death. Alongside Deputy Blount, Little participated in the use of force that resulted in Ward’s death. Little was placed on leave and later returned to work. The county settled the wrongful death lawsuit for $3.8 million.
