Deputy Paul Dimitri was involved in the August 2016 arrest of Warren Edward Culbertson, who alleged that Dimitri and another deputy used excessive force despite his lack of resistance. Culbertson claimed he was slammed to the ground, punched, and kicked during the arrest, resulting in a broken wrist. The court ultimately dismissed Culbertson’s claims against Dimitri and others with prejudice in November 2017.
