    In 2024, Deputy Schuman faced multiple allegations, including using uncertified canines for searches, falsifying official reports and training records, making inappropriate sexual comments, disseminating false information in campaign materials, and misusing agency vehicles. The Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training Council investigated and revoked Schuman’s law enforcement certifications.
