    In 2017, Deputy Scott Gentry, along with other officers, allowed an impaired driver, Kenneth Kennedy, to continue driving despite clear signs of intoxication. This decision led to a fatal head-on collision that killed three people. Gentry suggested to a fellow officer to refrain from taking official action against Kennedy to avoid paperwork, demonstrating a disregard for public safety.
