Deputy Sheriff Mark Marino was involved in the October 27, 2021, arrest of Paul Giammarinaro, who had turned himself in on an outstanding bench warrant. Giammarinaro claims that Marino, along with other deputies, applied excessive force during the arrest, resulting in a fractured arm. A lawsuit filed in federal court on October 23, 2023, alleges that Marino violated Giammarinaro’s constitutional rights by using unreasonable force. The lawsuit is currently pending, and no disciplinary actions or outcomes have been publicly disclosed as of now.
