On March 13, 2012, Deputy Tracy Sink was involved in an incident with Mr. Berman at the Fresno County courthouse. Berman alleged that Deputy Sink used excessive force during the encounter, leading to his arrest. Prior to this incident, Deputy Sink had received fewer than five verbal complaints of being rude between May 2001 and the incident date. Post-incident, there were additional complaints from judges regarding her behavior towards jurors. Despite these complaints, no significant disciplinary actions were documented.
