    In April 2022, Deputy Tyler Poe was involved in an incident where he allegedly used excessive force against Ralph Ennis, a 77-year-old man. Body camera footage reportedly shows Deputy Poe violently grabbing Mr. Ennis and slamming his face and body into the rear of his truck without prior verbal command. This action led to significant injuries, including a traumatic brain injury. Mr. Ennis died from his injuries on April 15, 2022. A $6 million wrongful death lawsuit was filed by Mr. Ennis’s family, citing excessive force by Deputy Poe. As of the latest reports, Deputy Poe continues to work at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
