In April 2022, Deputy Zachary Fadley was involved in an incident where he allegedly used excessive force against Ralph Ennis, a 77-year-old man. After Deputy Tyler Poe had already engaged Mr. Ennis, Deputy Fadley reportedly rushed in without announcing his presence and violently pushed and tackled Mr. Ennis to the pavement, causing significant injuries. Mr. Ennis died from his injuries on April 15, 2022. A $6 million wrongful death lawsuit was filed by Mr. Ennis’s family, citing excessive force by Deputy Fadley. Deputy Fadley is no longer employed at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office; however, no specific details about his departure have been provided.
