On September 21, 2018, Officer Edward Baggs was involved in the apprehension of Spencer Erickson, who was hiding in an attic crawl space. Despite Erickson’s nonviolent history, Baggs released a police dog into the house without adequate warning. The dog bit Erickson’s neck, causing severe injuries.
