Officer Marrero was involved in escorting inmate Raheem Jacobs after the February 25, 2015, excessive force incident. Jacobs alleged that while being escorted, he was further assaulted in an elevator without surveillance cameras. Marrero was named in the lawsuit that resulted in a $300,000 settlement and faced disciplinary actions.
