    In 2019, Officer Emmanuel Cordero was involved in an incident in Hamden, Connecticut, leading to his arrest on charges of risk of injury to a minor. The victim was 12 years old at the time. In August 2023, a jury found Cordero guilty of the charge. Following his conviction, he was placed on administrative leave pending a Human Resources review. Sentencing was scheduled for October 16, 2023.
