Former Officer Estifanos Zerai-Misgun filed a racial discrimination complaint after being fired in 2016 for refusing to work following reports of racial epithets and harassment. The town settled the complaint in 2017, agreeing to pay Zerai-Misgun $135,000 and covering his attorney’s fees.
