Former Deputy Gary Huber was charged with multiple felony counts related to the sexual assault of children between 2010 and 2016. He pleaded guilty to two counts of causing a child aged 13-18 to view sexual activity and two counts of exposing his genitals to a child. In October 2023, he was sentenced to six years in prison, followed by 10 years of extended supervision. Huber resigned from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office in July 2021 to avoid an internal investigation.
