In November 2022, Deputy Gregory arrested a man during a domestic violence call, leading to allegations of false information in his report and misrepresentation of the incident. The charges against the arrested individual were dismissed, and Gregory was placed on administrative leave on November 30, 2022. He was terminated on January 12, 2023. Gregory filed a lawsuit in July 2023, claiming unlawful termination and retaliation for reporting inappropriate behavior within the sheriff’s office. The lawsuit seeks over $900,000 in damages.
