Officer Greg Park was discharged in February 2011 for violating department policies, including disobeying a superior’s order during a juvenile arrest. His disciplinary history included multiple incidents: in April 2008, he exhibited frustration during a field training program; in July 2008, he refused to take a report during a stolen vehicle investigation; in September 2008, he was admonished by a judge for poor performance and untruthfulness in court; in September 2008, he handcuffed and searched a man without noticing a large knife in the man’s pocket; in September 2008, he incorrectly reported an accident, blaming an unoccupied vehicle struck by a school bus; in May 2009, he delayed responding to an alarm to finish his breakfast; in February 2009, he conducted a traffic stop improperly on private property; in December 2009, he neglected to take a report for check deception and failed to collect evidence; and in July 2010, two women complained that Park made inappropriate advances during traffic stops, with video evidence showing him hugging one of the women multiple times. These cumulative violations led to his termination for just cause.
