In 2014, Deputy Gregory Glenn Barge was convicted for attempting to possess with intent to distribute cocaine powder and using a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. He transported packages he believed contained multiple kilograms of cocaine from Montgomery to Camden on three occasions in 2013, using his law enforcement vehicle, uniform, and firearm. Barge was sentenced to 90 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
