Between March 2020 and July 2021, Deputy Ian Seaborne Warren engaged in multiple incidents of domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend. He threatened to kill her and her family, pulled her off the bed onto the floor by her legs, and repeatedly pushed, pulled, and shoved her during arguments. These actions led to his arrest on September 14, 2021, and he was charged with second-degree domestic violence. He was booked at the Barnwell County Detention Center and released on a $5,000 bond with conditions including no contact with the victim or her family, and no possession of firearms.
