On December 7, 2022, Officer Coyle was involved in the arrest of Hayden Graham, a man with cerebral palsy. Despite knowing Graham’s condition, Coyle accused him of taking a fighting stance and, along with other officers, took him to the ground and used a taser. Graham filed a lawsuit alleging excessive force and misconduct. The outcome of the lawsuit is pending.
