In December 2023, Officer Dozier was arrested and charged with misconduct in office and possession of contraband. He allegedly brought a 9mm firearm and tobacco products into the detention center and instructed a coworker to retrieve them from his locker without looking inside or informing anyone. Additionally, Dozier faced a sexual misconduct investigation involving criminal sexual conduct with a minor. His employment history includes multiple disciplinary actions: a three-day suspension in November 2022 for bringing his phone into the jail, another three-day suspension in January 2023 for inappropriate physical contact with a kitchen staff member, and a four-day suspension in February 2023 for severe anger management issues, including yelling and swearing at inmates and threatening to assault one. He was terminated in March 2023 due to insubordination and anger management issues.

Welcome to Police Accountability Database

Our Mission

We're building a comprehensive database of police interactions to promote accountability and transparency in law enforcement.

How You Can Participate

  • View the Blog: Read about documented police interactions
  • Share Your Experience: Submit your own police interaction story
  • Browse the Forums: Check if your local law enforcement has been documented

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
