On June 17, 2015, Deputy Jason Reeves was involved in the fatal shooting of Wendy Chappell Price during a traffic stop in Clanton, Alabama. Price was pursued by law enforcement after failing to stop at an officer’s order. During the encounter, officers fired their weapons at Price a total of 17 times, striking her four times, resulting in her death at the scene.
