In December 2020, Officer Jeremy D. Harrison was charged with violating the department’s off-duty employment policy by serving as a courtesy officer without residing on the properties. Investigations showed that Harrison had earned $51,306.50 from unauthorized off-duty work at the Estates at Northampton. He was subsequently suspended for 20 days, demoted, and prohibited from off-duty work for one year.
