In 2009, Officer Fuller, alongside Officer Carlos Tyson Bennett, engaged in a scheme to stop vehicles under false pretenses on Interstate 65 and steal cash from drivers and passengers. Fuller admitted to multiple thefts between May and June 2009, including taking $200 each from two victims and $120 from a third. He also stole a GPS device from a driver he arrested on March 14, 2009. On August 28, 2012, Fuller pleaded guilty to conspiracy against rights and deprivation of rights under color of law, resulting in a 37-month prison sentence and two years of supervised release.
