In 2002, Officer Jesus Sanchez was accused of multiple instances of sexual misconduct, including forcibly kissing a woman and making unwanted advances. A pre-disciplinary hearing found him guilty of all charges, resulting in an official letter of reprimand prohibiting contact with the complainant and advising him to focus on police duties. In 2007, Sanchez was indicted on two counts of menacing by stalking, leading to a conviction on one count in 2008.
