    In 2015, Deputy Chief Jim Jolliffe was demoted to Captain due to a pattern of disrespectful and insolent behavior, as well as disengagement from his position. Chief Steve Mylett cited these issues as incompatible with Jolliffe’s role as Deputy Chief. The demotion followed incidents where Jolliffe exhibited unprofessional conduct, including making dismissive remarks about his subordinates’ perceptions of him.
