In 2004, Officer John Faulkner was discharged after an investigation revealed that he had improperly used the State Police On-Line Technology Systems to issue a traffic ticket. The investigation began after the recipient of the ticket filed a complaint alleging harassment by Faulkner. The chief of police revoked the ticket and assigned an internal investigation, which led to Faulkner’s termination.
