Former deputy Joshua Cox was involved in multiple incidents of inmate abuse at the Daggett County Jail. He illegally used a Taser on inmates and forced them to act as test subjects for uncertified police dog training. Cox was seen on camera assaulting inmates. He pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault, transport of a weapon into a secure area, and theft in 2017.
