Detective Joshua Jaynes was involved in obtaining the search warrant for Breonna Taylor’s apartment in March 2020. He was accused of falsifying information in the affidavit used to secure the warrant, including providing false, misleading, and outdated information. In October 2024, federal prosecutors filed a new indictment against Jaynes for these actions.
