Create And Track Police Department History

In January 2022, Officer Karter Lingen violated department policies by crashing his squad car while attempting to pull over a speeding driver. The incident occurred at the intersection of Third Avenue and 11th Street Northeast. A 41-year-old female passenger in the other vehicle was injured and taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital. Lingen faced administrative disciplinary action in accordance with department and city policies.
