In April 2020, Officer Katelyn Arnold was named in a lawsuit alleging excessive force. The plaintiff, Arkein Campbell, claimed that while he was face down on the ground in handcuffs, Arnold used her Taser in drive stun mode, repeatedly tasing him and causing injury. The lawsuit also alleged that the North Charleston Police Department failed to properly train or supervise the use of Tasers, contributing to the incident.

Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
