Former Police Chief Keith Miller was terminated in June 2023 after serving just over a year. He filed a lawsuit against the city and mayor in April 2024, alleging breach of contract and lack of due process in his firing. Miller claims he was given no notice about possible conduct issues prior to his termination. He seeks compensation for lost wages, punitive damages, attorneys’ fees, and other relief.
