In 2020, Officer Kenneth Lyman crashed a SWAT vehicle into a civilian’s work truck and fled the scene, violating state law requiring drivers to stop after a collision. An internal investigation confirmed Lyman’s awareness of the crash and his decision to leave without checking on the other driver. He received a written reprimand for this incident.
