Sergeant Kevin Everly was arrested on June 4, 2021, for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident. Early that morning, police responded to a call at the Enid Library where Everly, off-duty at the time, was accused of hitting another vehicle while intoxicated. He was subsequently arrested and placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of criminal and internal investigations.
