In March 2014, Officer Feldman arrested Joy Reynolds for an outdated warrant. While in custody, Reynolds was seen in a video being slammed into a wall and onto the floor after retrieving her cellphone from a desk. This incident led to a federal lawsuit against Feldman and the Florissant Police Department for excessive force and civil rights violations.
